Poached Pears in Red Wine

Ingredients

  • 2 pears
  • 250ml red wine
  • 2 spoons sugar
  • 2 pieces butter

Steps

  1. Wash the pears and remove the center of each pear.
  2. Take the pears into a baking form and pour a spoon of sugar into the center of each pear.
  3. Add a pinch of butter on top of the sugar into the pear.
  4. Pour the wine around the pears.
  5. Leave them for 30 minutes in the oven.
