Okonomiyaki

Ingredients

  • Cabbage
  • Onions
  • Green onions
  • Flour
  • Dry seasonings
  • Water
  • Eggs
  • Oil
  • Pork slices
  • Okonomiyaki sauce
  • Mayonnaise
  • Bonito flakes

Steps

  1. Shred the cabbage and cut the onions and green onions.
  2. In a large bowl, combine flour with the rest of the dry ingredients and mix.
  3. Add water and eggs and mix until combined.
  4. Add the cabbage, onions and green onions and mix.
  5. Heat oil in a pan, add the batter and flatten it.
  6. Top with pork slices, cover with a lid and cook for 5 minutes.
  7. Flip the pancake and cook for another 5 minutes.
  8. Brush with okonomiyaki sauce and drizzle with mayonnaise in squiggly lines.
  9. Top with bonito flakes, cut into slices and serve.
