  • 1 can Sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 jar Caramel topping

  • as desired Crushed candy bars (Heath, Reese's, Butterfinger, or Snickers)

  1. Bake the chocolate cake according to package directions.
  2. Once baked and completely cooled, poke holes in the top of the cake using a fork.
  3. Pour the entire can of sweetened condensed milk over the holes, trying to get it into as many spots as possible.
  4. If any bubbles appear on the surface, gently pat the cake pan on the counter to help them sink and soak into the holes.
  5. Cover the cake with the caramel topping, ensuring you spread it all the way from one end to the other so it gets into all the holes.
  6. Once the caramel is applied, top the entire cake with cool whip to serve as icing and smooth it out evenly.
