- 1 Beef chuck roast
- 1/2 of a Onion
- some chopped and diced Roma tomato
- 4 Garlic cloves
- to taste Onion powder
- to taste Garlic powder
- a little Cracked black pepper
- 1 to 1.5 teaspoons Cumin seeds with black peppercorn (ground)
- some Maggi seasoning
- to make a flour slurry Beef broth
- enough for the slurry Flour

- Cut the beef chuck roast into cubes and place it in a six-quart slow cooker.
- Add half of an chopped onion, diced Roma tomato, four cloves of garlic, onion powder, garlic powder, cracked black pepper, cumin seeds with ground peppercorn (1 to 1.5 teaspoons), and Maggi seasoning to the slow cooker.
- Prepare a flour slurry by mixing flour into beef broth.
- Pour the flour slurry into the crock pot along with all other ingredients.
- Add salt and one or two bay leaves.
- Cover the lid, set the slow cooker to high, and cook for 4.5 to 5 hours.
- Stir the mixture halfway through the cooking time (about 2.5 hours) to ensure the gravy thickens and meat is tender.
