Quick and Easy Burger Tacos

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup mayo
  • 2 Tbsp ketchup
  • 1 Tbsp mustard
  • 1 jalapeño
  • onion
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • black pepper
  • chile tepin
  • ground beef
  • Montreal seasoning
  • flour tortillas
  • cheese
  • grilled onions
  • lettuce
  • tomatoes

Steps

  1. Blend mayo, ketchup, mustard, jalapeño with its juice, onion, garlic, paprika, salt, black pepper, and chile tepin until smooth. Taste and adjust salt. Refrigerate until ready to use.
  2. Divide ground beef into 3-oz meatballs and season with Montreal seasoning or salt and black pepper.
  3. Heat comal over medium-high heat.
  4. Place meatball seasoning-side down and smash flat. Cook 2 minutes, flip, cook another 1-2 minutes.
  5. Move patty to one side of the comal and heat a flour tortilla on the other side.
  6. Place cheese over the patty, lay the cooked side of the tortilla on top, then flip together.
  7. Cook until done, remove from heat.
  8. Top with burger sauce, grilled onions, lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles or jalapenos.
  9. Serve and enjoy.
