5-Minute French Dip

  • 1 can Beef consommé
  • 1 can French onion soup
  • as needed Water
  • to taste Deli roast beef
  • 4 (makes 2 sandwiches) Hoagie rolls
  • 8 slices Provolone cheese

Steps

  1. Grab a saucepan and add one can of beef consommé, one can of French onion soup, and water.
  2. Heat the liquid in the saucepan.
  3. Add deli roast beef to the heating liquid and gently heat it through.
  4. While the meat heats up, take the hoagie rolls and wedge them open.
  5. Place two slices of provolone cheese on each half of the roll (two halves per slice).
  6. Toast the bread and melt the cheese under the broiler until toasty and cheesy.
