Air Fryer Chicken Drumsticks

  • 12 Chicken drumsticks
  • 2 tablespoons Cooking oil (Olive oil)
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning mix
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Paprika

Steps

  1. Place the chicken drumsticks in a mixing bowl.
  2. Drizzle the cooking oil over the drumsticks and toss to coat all sides.
  3. Sprinkle the Italian seasoning mix, black pepper, garlic powder, salt, and paprika over the chicken.
  4. Toss with tongs or hands until the seasonings are evenly distributed on the skin of the drumsticks.
  5. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (or run it at this temperature for a couple of minutes if preheating is not available).
  6. Place the chicken legs in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not stacked on top of each other. Cook in batches if necessary.
  7. Cook at 400°F for 10 minutes.
  8. Flip the chicken over using tongs and cook for an additional 10 minutes at 400°F.
  9. Check the internal temperature with a meat thermometer; it should be over 165°F (or ideally around 180°F-189°F).
  10. Remove the chicken from the air fryer and let it rest for about 5 minutes before serving.
