Creamy Shell Beef Pasta

- 1 lb small pasta shells (or elbow macaroni)
- 1 1/2 lbs lean ground beef
- one can Rotel (diced tomatoes and green chilies)
- 8 oz mild cheddar cheese
- 1 cup to 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
- 4 1/2 cups water
- to taste taco seasoning mix
- 2 teaspoons chicken bullion powder (optional)

Steps
- Start by cooking the ground beef, seasoning it with taco seasoning mix and 2 teaspoons of chicken bouillon powder.
- Combine the cooked ground beef with the entire bag of pasta shells in one pot.
- Add the drained can of Rotel (diced tomatoes and green chilies) to the mixture.
- Pour in 4 1/2 cups of water, mix well, and bring the contents to a rapid simmer or boil.
- Once boiling, turn the heat down and let it cook for about 10 minutes.
- Carefully add the shredded mild cheddar cheese to the simmering mixture.
- Stir in 1 cup to 1 1/2 cups of heavy cream until melted and combined with the cooked beef and shells.
