- Drain and rinse one can of chickpeas.
- Pat the chickpeas dry with a clean kitchen towel to remove excess moisture.
- Transfer the dried chickpeas into a large bowl.
- Drizzle 1-2 teaspoons of olive oil over the chickpeas and toss to coat.
- Season the chickpeas with fresh cracked black pepper, garlic powder, chili powder (or regular chili powder), and salt. Toss well to ensure they are coated.
- Preheat your air fryer to 390°F.
- Spray the air fryer basket lightly to prevent sticking.
- Spread the seasoned chickpeas in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
