- to taste Baking powder
- to taste Garlic powder
- to taste Paprika

- Lightly spray a baking sheet with olive oil spray and set aside.
- In a small bowl, combine the baking powder, garlic powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and any additional favorite seasonings. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.
- Remove chicken from its paper towel (if it was placed on one) to ensure the bottom is dry. Season each piece of chicken thoroughly with the dry rub mixture.
- Apply seasoning to the front of the chicken by rubbing it in, but do not rub too much as this is a dry rub. For the underside, apply some seasoning to the backs of each piece to get the seasoning in well without turning the chicken over completely.
- Preheat your oven to 425°F.
- Position the seasoned chicken pieces on the baking sheet, ensuring there is enough room between them for air circulation so they do not touch.
- Bake the chicken in the preheated oven for approximately 30 to 40 minutes, or until an internal temperature of 165°F is reached and the chicken is no longer pink inside.
- Drizzle pan drippings over each piece of cooked chicken before serving.
