Fattoush Salad

Ingredients
- less than a head Romaine lettuce
- 1 large Tomato
- as needed Persian cucumbers
- 3 large Radishes
- about half a pepper Green peppers
- 2 whole green onions Green onions
- as needed Chopped parsley
- 2 tablespoons Lemon juice
- 3 tablespoons Olive oil (extra virgin cold-press)
- 2 minced Garlic cloves
- as needed Sumac
- as needed Dried mint
- as needed Pomegranate molasses (or balsamic vinegar reduced to syrup)
- to taste Salt and pepper
- for topping Fried pita bread

Steps
- Cut off the romaine lettuce into pieces.
- Add big chunks of tomato to a salad bowl.
- Slice Persian cucumbers and add them to the salad bowl.
- Slice radishes (using 3 large ones) and add them to the salad bowl.
- Chop up about half a green pepper and add it to the salad bowl.
- Chop up two whole green onions and add them to the salad bowl.
- Add chopped parsley to the salad bowl.
- In a separate container, combine 2 tablespoons of lemon juice and 3 tablespoons of olive oil.
- Add 2 minced garlic cloves to the dressing mixture.
- Stir in sumac and dried mint (or fresh mint).
- Add pomegranate molasses (or reduced balsamic vinegar) to the dressing.
- Season with salt and pepper, then stir until all flavors are incorporated.
- Drizzle the prepared dressing over the salad ingredients.
- Toss the salad thoroughly.
- Top the finished dish with fried pita bread.
