- 2 tablespoons Cracked black pepper
- 1 tablespoon Kosher salt
- 2-3 cloves or 1 tablespoon Minced garlic cloves or garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon Crushed red pepper
- about 1 cup Worcestershire sauce

- Place the flank steak in a vacuum seal bag or zip lock bag, and pour the marinade ingredients over it.
- Mix the cracked black pepper, kosher salt, minced garlic (or garlic powder), crushed red pepper, and Worcestershire sauce thoroughly into the bag with the steak.
- Seal the bag and let the steak marinate in the refrigerator for at least six hours, or ideally overnight.
- Remove the steak from the marinade and allow it to come up to room temperature.
- Preheat a grill to high heat (400-600°F).
- Place the flank steak on the grill and sear each side for 2-5 minutes, depending on thickness and desired doneness.
- Use an instant-read thermometer to ensure all sections of the steak reach at least 120°F (rare/medium rare internal temperature).
- Remove the steak from the heat and let it rest for a minimum of 15 minutes before carving.
- Carve the flank steak diagonally against the grain.
