Moroccan Salmon

Ingredients

  • 1 big Potatoes
  • 3 soft Tomatoes
  • 2 Red bell peppers
  • 2 Carrots
  • to taste Black pepper
  • 1 tbsp Salt
  • 3 tbsp Red paprika
  • a pinch Turmeric
  • a pinch Cumin
  • 6 Dry red pepper spicy
  • 10 Garlic cloves
  • 1 1/4 cup (soaked or canned) Garbanzo beans
  • 1/2 cup Oil
  • 4 Salmon pieces

Steps

  1. Cut the cilantro into small, whole pieces and place them in a pot.
  2. Cut the carrots into small pieces and add them to the pot.
  3. Slice the tomatoes thinly and add them to the pot.
  4. Cut the red bell peppers into strips (skin facing down) and add them to the pot.
  5. Cut the potatoes into round, thin slices and add them to the pot.
  6. Chop the garlic into small pieces and spread it around in the pot.
  7. Add the oil to the pot and turn on the heat to high until it comes to a boil.
  8. Pour 3 cups of water into the boiling oil.
  9. Close the lid and let the mixture cook for 5 minutes.
  10. Once the water has boiled, add the spices: red paprika (3 tbsp), black pepper (1/2 tsp), salt (1 tbsp), turmeric (a pinch), cumin (a pinch), and dry red peppers (6).
  11. Add the garbanzo beans to the pot, ensuring all ingredients are mixed with the water.
  12. Place the salmon pieces on top of the mixture.
  13. Cover the lid and let it cook on medium heat for 1 hour and a half.
