Moroccan Tangia

- A little bit Olive oil
- Half an onion per person Onion
- As needed Beef (chuck/shoulder)
- 1 clove Garlic cloves
- A little bit Tomato
- A piece Ginger
- Some Chopped parsley
- A little bit Coriander (roughly chopped)
- To taste Salt
- A little bit Cumin
- A little bit Cinnamon
- A little bit Pepper
- Some Ginger powder
- A little bit Paprika
- Half an apple per person Apple (firm variety)
- Another drizzle Olive oil

Steps
- Place a small amount of olive oil in the bottom of the Tangia pot and coat the inside.
- Dice half an onion (or more, depending on serving size) finely and place it into the pot.
- Add the beef pieces to the pot.
- Add another touch of olive oil if needed.
- Place a whole garlic clove in the pot.
- Add a little bit of tomato.
- Crush a piece of ginger and add it to the pot.
- Sprinkle chopped parsley into the mixture.
- Roughly chop coriander and add it to the pot.
- Season with salt, cumin, cinnamon, pepper, ginger powder, and paprika.
- Add half an apple (or two-half apples) after removing seeds and pips.
- Drizzle another little bit of olive oil over the ingredients.
- Take a piece of greaseproof paper, fold it to create a triangle shape, and place it in the center of the pot.
- Place the metal wire lid on top of the folded paper, ensuring it covers the contents completely to trap steam.
- Cook the Tangia for approximately 3 hours over coals or at very low heat until the meat is tender.
