- 1/2 pound Ground sirloin
- 1/4 pound Ground pork
- 1/4 pound Ground veal
- 1 cup Dried bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup Ground Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup Ground Pecorino cheese
- 1 Beaten egg
- 1 clove Garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon Chopped parsley
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Pepper
- 1/2 cup Water
- 1/3 cup Red wine (Italian)
- as needed Olive oil
- as needed Bottled marinara sauce

- In a bowl, combine the ground sirloin, ground pork, and ground veal.
- Add the dried bread crumbs, ground Parmesan cheese, ground Pecorino cheese, beaten egg, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, pepper, water, and red wine to the meat mixture.
- Mix all ingredients together lightly with a fork; do not overmix so the meatballs don't become dense.
- Using an ice cream scoop or rolling your hands, form rounded scoops of the meat mixture into meatballs.
- Brush the formed meatballs with oil.
- Place the meatballs in a baking dish and roast them in the oven at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 25 to 30 minutes until browned.
- Transfer the roasted meatballs to a pot containing simmering marinara sauce.
- Simmer the meatballs in the marinara sauce for 10 minutes.
