Turkish Cheese Borek

- As needed Yufka (Phyllo) sheets
- Approx. 300 grams Feta cheese
- Optional, to taste Kashar cheese
- To taste Chopped parsley
- 1 Egg
- 3/4 cup Milk
- Same amount as milk Vegetable oil (or mix of sunflower and olive oil)

Steps
- In a medium nonstick pan, whisk together the egg, milk, and vegetable oil to create the sauce.
- Crumble the feta cheese into a bowl and mix it with the kashar cheese (if using) and chopped parsley.
- Place several yufka sheets in the pan, hanging them on the sides of the pan.
- Dip each sheet into the prepared sauce to soak as much as possible. Place the soaked sheet down, wrinkling it slightly to create air pockets for the filling.
- Add a layer of the cheese mixture onto the bottom and sides of the yufka sheets.
- Place another layer of yufka over the top of the filling, sealing it in place.
- Pour any leftover sauce into the pan around the borek (avoid pouring directly on the cooking surface).
- Cook the borek on the stovetop for about five minutes. Carefully turn the borek using a plate to cook the other side until golden brown and crunchy.
