Steps
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F. If your model does not have a preheat option, run it for about 5 minutes at this temperature.
- Lay out the pork chops on a platter and drizzle half of the olive oil over them.
- Use a basting brush or your fingers to ensure both sides of the pork chops are completely coated with oil.
- Flip the pork chops and apply the remaining oil to the opposite side, ensuring all sides are oiled.
- In a small bowl, combine paprika, salt, black pepper, ground mustard powder, garlic powder, and onion powder until evenly mixed.
- Sprinkle half of the seasoning mixture onto one side of each pork chop.
- Use a basting brush to rub the seasoning into the oil on that side of the pork chops.
- Flip the pork chops and sprinkle the remaining half of the seasoning mixture onto the other side.
- Rub the seasoning into the oil on the second side until evenly coated.
- Place the seasoned pork chops in a single layer in the air fryer, ensuring they do not overlap (you may need to cook in batches).
- Cook at 400°F for 10-12 minutes. Check the internal temperature with an instant-read digital meat thermometer.
- Remove the first batch when the pork reaches a minimum of 145°F internally, ensuring it is not overcooked.
- Place the second batch in the air fryer (if cooking in batches). You may cover them with foil to keep them moist and warm.
- Cook the second batch for approximately 10 minutes. Check the internal temperature every time until it reaches a minimum of 145°F internally.
