  • As needed Chicken pieces
  • As needed Red peppers (or bell peppers)
  • 3 cups Parboiled white rice
  • 6 cups Water
  • As needed Oil
  • 2 tablespoons Salt
  • As needed Green onions
  • As needed Parsley

Steps

  1. Season the chicken with salt and pepper.
  2. Add oil to a pot over medium heat.
  3. Brown the seasoned chicken in the oil, along with red peppers (or bell peppers).
  4. Stir in 3 cups of parboiled white rice.
  5. Add parsley if available.
  6. Season with 2 tablespoons of salt and green onions.
  7. Pour in 6 cups of water and add pepper.
  8. Bring the mixture to a boil over high heat, then reduce the heat.
  9. Simmer for about 20 minutes until the rice is cooked.
