Seafood Boil with Spicy Garlic Butter Cajun Sauce

Ingredients
- 8 cups Water
- 1 Tbsp Salt
- To taste Ground black pepper
- 2 pieces Sliced sweetcorn
- 500g Crabs
- 500g Shrimp
- 500g Mussels
- Cleaned and sliced amount Squid
- 3 pieces, finely chopped Onions
- 200g Butter
- 2 heads, finely chopped Garlic
- 1 cup Sprite
- 1/2 cup Seafood broth

Steps
- Boil 8 cups of water and add 1 Tbsp of salt, ground black pepper, 2 pieces of sliced sweetcorn, and 500g of crabs.
- Let the mixture come to a boil, then simmer for about 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, set aside.
- Add 500g of shrimp, 500g of mussels, and cook on high flame setting for about 2 minutes (shrimp) and 3 minutes (mussels).
- After 2 minutes, strain the shrimps and set them aside. After 1 minute of straining the shrimp, strain the mussels and set them aside.
- Strain the corn right after the mussels and set it aside.
- Add cleaned and sliced squid to the pot and cook for about 45 seconds on high flame setting.
- After 45 seconds, strain the squid and set it aside. Keep some of the broth.
- Sauté 3 pieces of finely chopped onions on medium flame setting until almost translucent.
- Add 200g of butter and mix until dissolved.
- Add 2 heads of finely chopped garlic and continue to sauté for about 1 minute.
- Add 1 cup of Sprite, then add 1/2 cup of the seafood broth and mix.
- Add 1/2 tsp salt, ground black pepper, 4 Tbsp hot sauce, 9 Tbsp brown sugar, and 5 Tbsp Cajun seasoning. Mix.
- Continue to reduce on medium flame setting until a bit thick (this should be the consistency).
- Turn off the flame and add all the boiled seafood and the boiled sweetcorn.
- Mix thoroughly; it is ready for serving.
