Slow Cooker Pork Carnitas

- 4 lb Pork butt
- juice of two oranges Orange juice
- 1/4 cup Milk
- 1/2 cup Water
- 3 tbsp Pork fat
- 4 Garlic cloves
- 1 1/2 tbsp Salt
- 2 Bay leaves

Steps
- Sprinkle salt over the pork.
- Set your burner to medium-high heat and add the pork fat.
- Add the pork to the hot fat and sear for 6 to 8 minutes, then flip and continue cooking for another four minutes (total searing time should be between 10 and 15 minutes).
- In a separate bowl, mix the milk, water, orange juice, garlic, bay leaves.
- Pour the mixture over the seared pork in the slow cooker.
- Set the slow cooker to low for 8 hours (or overnight).
- Once cooked, keep it on warm.
