Survival Soup Recipe

  • carrot
  • 4 tablespoons per quart of water salt

Steps

  1. Cook chicken bones, wings, and thighs for 8 hours on low heat.
  2. Add salt to the broth for preservation (4 tablespoons per quart of water).
  3. Add onions and carrots after 4 hours of cooking, then simmer for another 4 hours.
  4. Strain the broth through cheesecloth, discarding solids.
  5. Dry the concentrate on parchment paper in a cool, dry place at room temperature.
  6. Cut concentrate into four equal pieces for individual servings.
