Steps
- Chop the onion into small dices.
- Prepare the peppers: remove seeds and chop them into strips, then cut them diagonally to create different visuals. Repeat this for all three colors (yellow, red, green).
- Season the meat with a big amount of black pepper, 2 teaspoons of salt, and ready seasoning for meat.
- Blend the seasonings thoroughly with the meat using your hands.
- Place the seasoned meat in a pressure cooker and cook for at least 1 minute (or until covered by the special seasoning).
- Heat the pressure cooker with 2 tablespoons of olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter.
- Do not stir the meat immediately; let it create a crust of flavor.
- Stir in all the chopped onion, tearing it slightly.
- Add 2 cloves of garlic and fill the pan with water (use 1.5 liters for 2 kilos of meat), ensuring there are two fingers of water above the meat.
- Stir a little more to blend ingredients in the pressure cooker.
- Close the lid and cook for at least 40 minutes.
- Heat a large pan with 2 tablespoons of olive oil.
- Sauté all three colors of peppers until they are covered by oil.
- Add half a teaspoon of salt to the peppers, stir, and keep the stove on medium power.
- After 3 to 5 minutes, add 100 mL of water to soften the peppers.
- Leave it for 5 to 10 minutes and close the pan.
- After 5 more minutes, check the peppers in the pan and throw in the entire regular container/bottle of tomato sauce. Stir with other ingredients and let it boil while the meat cooks.
- Before closing the pan again, add cherry tomatoes for sweetness.
- Once the meat is cooked (after 45 minutes), shred it using a fork by pressing over the meat until all pieces are shredded very fast.
- Use 2 or 3 spoons of the flavorful water/broth from the pressure cooker and throw it into the sauce pan with the peppers.
- Stir to reduce the sauce, adding more broth as needed for taste. Taste and adjust salt if necessary.
- Close the pan again for another 5 minutes.
- Throw all the shredded beef into the sauce pan.
- Continue stirring until the beef takes on a new color from the ingredients.
- Taste the final dish, adding more meat broth as needed to enhance flavor before serving.
