Steps
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add diced potatoes and onions, season with garlic salt and black pepper, and cook for 5 minutes until soft.
- Add rotisserie chicken, Roma tomatoes, and chicken bouillon. Cook for 3 minutes.
- Add chicken broth or water. Mix in cilantro. Set filling aside to cool.
- Prepare salsa: combine Roma tomatoes, tomatillos, chile serrano or jalapeño, habanero, onion, garlic cloves, salt, and water in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
- Transfer boiled salsa ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.
- Heat oil in the saucepan, add salsa, bring to a simmer, adjust salt, and simmer for 3 minutes.
- Preheat tortillas until soft. Place filling in the center of each tortilla, roll tightly, and secure with a toothpick.
- Fry flautas in hot oil until golden on both sides. Drain on paper towels.
- Serve topped with sour cream, lettuce, lime juice, tomatoes, onion, cilantro, salsa, queso fresco, and crema Mexicana.
