- 15 oz tomato sauce
- 3/4 cup water
- 2 tbsp vinegar
- cayenne pepper
- 2 lbs lean ground beef
- 2 tsp garlic salt
- chili powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- oregano
- ground cumin
- onion powder

- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 per pizza flour tortillas
- refried beans
- shredded cheese
- tomatoes

Steps
- Make sauce: combine tomato sauce, water, vinegar, and spices in a saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a simmer, then reduce to low and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Brown ground beef in a pan over medium-high heat. Season with garlic salt, chili powder, paprika, oregano, cumin, and onion powder.
- Add Roma tomato and onion to the meat. Cook for 5 minutes.
- Drain excess grease. Add 2 tbsp of the sauce and 1 tbsp cornstarch dissolved in 1/4 cup water. Cook 1 more minute.
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Heat a comal or griddle over medium heat with a little oil.
- Poke holes in flour tortillas and lightly fry one side, then flip and fry the other side until golden.
- Bake fried tortillas in oven for 5 minutes until crispy.
- Assemble: spread refried beans on one crispy tortilla, top with taco meat and cheese, place second tortilla on top.
- Add sauce, more cheese, tomatoes, green onion, black olives, and jalapeños on top.
- Return to oven until cheese melts.
