German Bread Dumplings

- as needed Roll cubes
- cubed Onions
- finely chopped Parsley
- melted in a pan Butter
- as needed Milk
- beaten lightly with salt and pepper Eggs
- as needed Breadcrumbs
- for boiling Water

Steps
- Cut the rolls into small cubes and add them to a large bowl.
- Cut the onions into cubes, then chop the parsley finely.
- Melt the butter in the pan at the onions and fry until translucent.
- Add the parsley and fry with the onions for about a minute.
- Shut off the heat and add the milk to the pan.
- Pour the mixture over the bread cubes and mix well.
- Add the eggs to a bowl and beat lightly with salt and pepper.
- Pour the egg mixture over the bread cubes and mix again very well.
- Allow to rest the mixture for about 10 to 15 minutes.
- Knead the mixture well for a couple of minutes.
- Add the breadcrumbs and knead for another couple of minutes with your hands slightly with cold water.
- Form tennis ball-sized dumplings.
- In a large pot, bring water to a simmer and add salt.
- Lower the dumplings into the water and let them simmer for about 15 to 20 minutes.
- Remove the dumplings from the pot; they are ready to serve.
