Ingredients
- As needed Tortilla chips
- Amount used Ground beef
- Amount used Cooked chicken
- 1 Small onion
- As needed Taco seasoning blend
- As needed Water
- Amount used Refried beans
- As needed Sharp cheddar cheese (or mild cheddar)
- 2-3 Avocados
- As needed Tomatoes
- As needed Lettuce
- As desired Sour cream
- As desired Salsa

Steps
- Cut up a small onion.
- In a bowl, combine the ground beef, cooked chicken, and onions. Add taco seasoning blend and water to cook until heated through (or simmer).
- Spread all tortilla chips onto a large sheet pan.
- Top the chips with the seasoned meat mixture (ground beef, chicken, and onions).
- Arrange refried beans on top of the nachos.
- Sprinkle cheese over the entire dish.
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Bake for just until the cheese melts.
- While the nachos are baking, cut up avocados and tomatoes (using a knife down and across method, then scooping out).
- Remove the sheet pan from the oven.
- Top the nacho plate with lettuce, refried beans, cubed avocado, sour cream, and salsa.
