Slow Cooker Beef and Broccoli

- 2 lbs Beef (chuck roast, flank steak, or sirloin)
- 1 cup Water
- 2 tablespoons Cornstarch
- a hair under 1/4 cup Avocado oil
- 1/3 of a cup Soy sauce
- about 1 tablespoon Oyster sauce or fish sauce
- Several tablespoons (2-4 tbsp) Ginger (fresh)
- 2 tablespoons Rice vinegar
- 2 teaspoons Sesame oil
- 1/4 cup (4 tablespoons) Brown sugar
- Little pinch Pepper
- about 1 lb Broccoli florets

Steps
- Place the beef in the crockpot.
- Pour the water and cornstarch over the beef.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the avocado oil, soy sauce, oyster sauce or fish sauce, ginger, rice vinegar, sesame oil, brown sugar, and pepper to create the sauce.
- Pour the sauce over the meat in the crockpot.
- Cook on high for 3 hours until the beef is almost done.
- Steam about a pound of broccoli florets separately.
- Mix the steamed broccoli with the beef and sauce in the crockpot.
- Serve over rice.
