Steps

  1. Heat a pan with garlic butter and let it sear.
  2. Add onions, garlic, scotch bonnet pepper, red peppers, and green onion to the pot.
  3. Season the vegetables with fish seasoning, Goya seasoning, Badilla complete seasoning, garlic powder, and scotch bonnet powder seasoning. Ensure everything is coated and spread throughout the pan.
  4. Pour in hot water until all veggies and the bottom of the pan are covered.
  5. Add pumpkin, okra, and corn to the pot.
  6. Season the mixture further with fish seasoning, Goya seasoning, garlic powder, Badilla complete seasoning, and Maggi all-purpose. Stir well so flavors distribute throughout.
  7. Let the vegetables boil for about 20 minutes until cooked.
  8. Place the seasoned fish into the pot; it will steam in the liquid along with the vegetables.
  9. Cover the pot and let the fish steam until done.
  10. While the fish is steaming, mash green bananas. Add butter to the mashed bananas and mix well.
  11. Season the mashed bananas lightly with garlic powder and Goya complete seasoning.
  12. Add a little milk to the mashed bananas and mix thoroughly.
  13. Plate the steamed fish and serve it alongside the mashed green bananas.
