- 3 Medium-sized onions
- 6 Garlic cloves
- a piece Ginger (chopped, for masala base)
- 3 Green chilies (cut up)
- a pinch Salt (for sautéing onions)
- a few Fresh coriander leaves (for sautéing onions)
- 2 tbsp Curd
- 1 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp turmeric, 1 tsp Kashmiri red chili powder, 1 tsp cumin powder, 1 tsp coriander powder Spice powders (salt, turmeric, chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder)
- a little bit Water
- 2 tbsp Oil (for frying paneer)
- 1 tbsp Ghee
- a few Whole spices (bay leaf, cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, cumin seeds)
- as needed Diluted Masala puree
- 1/2 teaspoon Garam masala powder
- some Kasuri methi leaves (crushed)
- a few Fresh coriander leaves (chopped, for garnish)
