Hot Honey Garlic Chicken Skewers

  • 2 lbs, cut into 1-inch pieces chicken
  • oil
  • 2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tsp Sriracha
  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • pinch salt (for sauce)

Steps

  1. Cut chicken into 1-inch pieces. Toss with oil, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
  2. Thread seasoned chicken onto metal skewers.
  3. Make hot honey: melt butter over low heat, add minced garlic, cook 30 seconds. Add honey, soy sauce, Sriracha, apple cider vinegar, pepper flakes, and a pinch of salt. Simmer for about 1 minute.
  4. Air fry chicken skewers at 400°F for 10 minutes, flipping halfway.
  5. Brush hot honey sauce all over the skewers and air fry for 2 more minutes.
  6. Brush with hot honey one last time. Let rest 5 minutes before serving.
