Korean Beef and Rice One-Pot

Ingredients
- 500 g Minced beef (less than 5% fat)
- 1 can Black beans
- 1 tin Chopped tomatoes
- 4 tsp Soy sauce
- 4 tbsp Gochujang paste (Korean fermented bean paste)
- As needed for slow cooker / 125 ml extra if using oven/casserole pot Water
- 300 g Bean sprouts

Steps
- Place the minced beef in the slow cooker.
- Add the black beans, chopped tomatoes (filling up the tin), soy sauce, and gochujang paste to the slow cooker.
- Stir everything around until combined.
- Cover the slow cooker with the lid and cook for 4 hours. (Alternatively, transfer to a tight-fitting casserole pot, add an extra 125 ml of water, and cook on low in the oven for about 2 hours).
- While the main dish cooks, boil water and place it over the bean sprouts to heat them through.
- Once the rice is cooked (after approximately 3 hours), stir the heated bean sprouts into the slow cooker.
