- 3 cloves garlic
- 4 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 1/2 tbsp chili powder
- 1 1/2 tbsp achiote paste
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- black pepper
- brown sugar
- oregano
- 1 cup orange juice
- 1/4 cup lime juice
- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup oil
- 4 lb steak

Steps
- Blend onion, garlic, salt, chili powder, achiote paste, cumin, black pepper, brown sugar, and oregano until smooth.
- Add orange juice, lime juice, and apple cider vinegar to the blender. Blend until smooth.
- Add oil to the blended mixture and blend briefly.
- Coat 4 lb steak with the marinade, cover, and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Allow marinated steak to rest at room temperature for 1 hour.
- Cook steak on a hot grill to desired doneness, shake off excess marinade, and rest for 5 minutes.
- Serve steak with rice and beans, ensalada de nopales, salsa, cebollita, jalapeño, and flour tortilla.
