- 2 tablespoons Sweet paprika
- 5 tablespoons Salt
- 1 teaspoon Sugar

- 3 Onion
- 3 Carrots
- 2 cloves Garlic

Steps
- Cut beef into large chunks, about 2x2 inches.
- Cut ribs along the bone for a mix of meat and bone.
- Mix 2 tablespoons sweet paprika, 5 tablespoons salt, and 1 teaspoon sugar.
- Rub spice mix into beef thoroughly.
- Burial cure beef in 1 cup salt for 1-2 hours.
- Dry cure ribs with lemon juice and salt for short duration.
- Prepare vegetables: halve onions and cut carrots into sticks.
- Rinse beef thoroughly.
- Sear beef in butter on high heat for 3-4 minutes per side.
- Fry onions and beef together for 15 minutes.
- Add ribs and fry for another 10 minutes.
- Assemble layers in jars: garlic, onion, beef, carrots, ribs.
- Pour hot water into jars, leaving about an inch of headspace.
- Seal jars with lid or foil and place in oven at 350F for 4 hours.
- After 2 hours, add hot water to jars to maintain liquid level.
- Cool jars and enjoy the result.
